Sheva Brachot

Sheva Brachot (Hebrew: שבע ברכות‎) literally "the seven blessings" also known as birkot Nesuim (Hebrew: ברכות נישואים‎), "the wedding blessings" in Halakha (Jewish religious law) are blessings that are recited for the bride and the groom in a Jewish Wedding ceremony under the chupah over a second cup of wine (called the Cup of Blessing).

Over the weekend i was asked by a friend to take pictures of this event for him and his family. I was honored to shoot as well as be apart of this event as i'm not of Jewish decent and all my life i've assumed them of just being some secret society all about "their" own whatever that meant. Thus now for me breaking the stereotype. Some photos of the event:
